Animal experiments are incompatible with our idea of ethics and responsibility for our fellow-beings –Santaverde categorically rejects them. In order to rule out all the loopholes in existing animal legislation for our natural cosmetics, all the Santaverde products bear the Leaping Bunny seal (www.leapingbunny.org), a globally recognised seal of approval for cosmetics produced without causing pain to animals.
In Andalusia, Santaverde supports the Adana home (www.adana.es) for stray animals in Estepona, the location of the company's own aloe vera finca. As often as possible, we also take new animals in on the finca and help the Adana organisation, which attends to innumerable stray animals with great dedication, with donations.
